Wreaths
With history as an event florist, I’ve experienced a compelling draw to the beauty offered at home. After finding, foraging and drying materials from our local landscapes, I presented them in a friend’s open barn for a wreath making birthday party with a few friends. Contemplative folk music played throughout the rustic barn loft while each selected their materials and worked creatively on their projects. The experience was incredibly rewarding and became a catalyst for moving forward with the work of Wombwood House.
Wreathmaking dovetails perfectly with the heart of Wombwood House; a circular space of woven stems hosting a flourishment of beauty invokes imagery of a fruitful womb well.
